The Apollo Fox is built according to the "BCAR" Section S constuction norm. The aircraft has welded steel alloy tube fuselage covered with "ceconite" fabric. The wing are made of aluminium alloy both spars and ribs and then covered with "ceconite". Wing can be folded backwards. One pilot can do it within 10 minutes. The landing gear is aluminium plate sheet system, like on all Cessna. Wheels are equipped with hidraulic disc or mechanic drum brakes. Apollo Fox has very good rudder harmony and very easy to fly and land. Available tail or nose wheel configurations. Engine: Rotax 582 UL Mod 99 (65Hp), 912UL (80 Hp), 912 ULS (100 Hp). Propeller: 2 blades wooden or 3-4 blades plastic, fiberglass, carbon ground or air adjustable propellers.
Technical data
The aircraft has type certificate in Belgium, Sweeden, Hungary, France, Croatia, Romania. In 2003 an APOLLO FOX equipped with a Rotax 912ULS 100 Hp engine flewn from Sármellék, Hungary to Sidney, Australia without ground follow team. There was no technical problem during all fligt. The distance was about 25.000 km over several countries, forests, deserts, seas. The two pilot Mr. Andor Kántás and Mr. Csongor Lathky made a big world record and show the reliability of the Apollo Fox to the world.
