The DEKO-9 biplane was designed by the Polish aeronautical engineers: Marek Debski, Krzysztof Kotlinski, Marian Jakoniuk, Daniel Debski.
Design begun in 1995, prototype exhibited at ILA 1998 and ILA 2000 Berlin, AERO Friedrichshafen 1999 and 2001, first flight September 2000.
Design Features:
Fully aerobatic, classic biplane. Structure: Aluminum tube fuselage with composite joints (Polish Patent) and with Ceconite covering.
Power Plant:
PZL Franklin 6A-350C1R (205 hp) with MT-Propeller MTV-9-D-C/C188-18a three-blade, variable-pitch propeller.
