The MH-1 is a touring motorglider designed with efficiency and safety as top priorities. The MH-1 is expected to have a cross country speed that makes travel enjoyable with a minimum of fuel burn. Wingspan is 28 feet, 51 square feet of wing area,15:1 A/R, power to weight ratio of 1:12 at gross, target empty weight of 220 pounds(235 pounds with BRS). Engine will likely be the 40 HP Rotron engine by Parajet. Other suitable engines include paramotors in the 20+ HP range. Unlike many pusher designs in the past, no shaft drive is used. Prototype completion is expected in late 2010. Construction is all carbon fiber Pre-Preg with honeycomb core. Tandem, tricycle and retractable gear options being explored.
